Dr Glenn Mathieson was born and raised on the Mornington Peninsula.  He undertook a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical) at Monash University completed in 2000.  Glenn then entered Medicine, also at Monash University, and graduated with Honours in 2006.
Following this Glenn undertook his internship with Southern Health, before working in the country, undertaking his residency at Ballarat Health Services and then commencing specialist training in Radiation Oncology working for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Bendigo.  Glenn then chose instead to pursue General Practice training, a portion of it spent at Langpark Medical Centre.  Glenn attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in early 2012.

Glenn is pleased to be able to return to the Mornington Peninsula, where he and his wife are raising their daughter age 4.  In his spare time Glenn is the Vice Chair of Nevus Support Australia, a national not for profit charity caring for individuals and families affected by a rare birthmark, Congenital Melanocytic Nevus.

Glenn has special interests in Oncology, Palliative Care and also Children’s Health, and enjoys the variety of work in General Practice caring for people (and their wider families) at all stages of their lives.
